In order to sell more importantly its new model on the European market, Nissan Infiniti will offer two new engines to its latest 2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid.
In fact, during an interview with our colleagues from AutoWeek, one of the leaders of the American brand has announced that the luxury brand of Nissan would propose in the next two years a block four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
Both new engines come from the strategic partnership between the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler. The four-cylinder Mercedes would have an origin and a block is similar to that proposed in Mercedes C Class.
There is a little more than two weeks, the Japanese automaker unveiled Nissan Infiniti Q50 at NAIAS, new sedan that will replace the G in the range of the premium brand of Nissan and which also introduces the new nomenclature of the Japanese firm.
During its presentation at the North American International Auto Show, Infiniti had announced the presence of the V6 gasoline 3.7L, 328 horses and the V6 hybrid 3.5L 360 horses. If these engines should seduce buyers across the Atlantic, the Japanese manufacturer should propose in Europe two new engines to attract the interest of the customers of the old Continent.
Same pattern for the diesel engine that would also range from German manufacturer. However, this engine is initially only available in Europe.
There are now more than know the date of availability of these new engines for Nissan Infiniti Q50 Hybrid G.
