The Acura ILX 2013 Concept, the new model input of gem of the trade mark, its arrival at dealers the next May 25. This new compact luxury sedan will be offered in three models and two versions. The starting price is $ 27,790.
Three separate engines, custom equipment
The base Acura ILX 2013 delivers its power of a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower at 6500 rpm and a torque of 140 lb – ft at 300 RPM. Standard equipment includes many features of comfort and convenience, but if this is not sufficient, the buyer can choose between two versions: all Premium and the technology package.
All Premium ($ 29,990) won seats in leather, heated front seats, a sound chain of 365 more powerful watts, a back-up camera and a system of annulment of the noise for a quieter cabin. The whole technological ($ 32,290) includes the features of the Premium, but the audio chain is replaced by the Acura of ELS Surround System. This version also has technologies such as a navigation system with voice recognition.
The Cavalry of 150 horses seem inadequate? The 2013 Acura ILX Dynamic addresses for more identified performance drivers. This model takes advantage of a more powerful 4-cylinder engine, the 2.4-liters that develops 201 horsepower to 7 000 rpm and a torque of 170 lb – ft @ 400 rpm.
If instead, you are looking for an energy efficient vehicle, Acura offers the Acura ILX Hybrid. This model combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. Together, the gasoline engine and the electric motor developed 111 horses to 5 500 rpm and a torque of 127 lb – ft between 1 000 and 3 500 rpm. This model has the regenerative braking and a system shutdown to idle to save more fuel and reduce emissions.
Side safety, the standard equipment includes the body structure advanced compatibility (ACEMC), airbags front and side, and side-curtain airbags, anti-lock braking device 4 channels and the assistance of the stability of the vehicle (Vehicle Stability AssistMD) system.
The Acura ILX will be produced at the plant in Greensburg, Indiana.
