The Detroit Auto Show 2013 is preparing to open its doors. At Dodge, you will show the compact Dodge Dart GT version. At home, Dodge finds itself in the guise of the compact Alfa Romeo Giulietta with which it shares its technical base. But on the other side of the Atlantic, this technical basis is found in the Dodge range since the return of the Dart in the range of the American manufacturer.
Dart takes a notchback shape unlike “our” Alfa Giulietta and now have a sporty version, called GT. Do not expect much for a riot of power: Dodge Dart GT can count on a large four-cylinder 2.4-liter engine capable of developing 184 horsepower to 235 Nm of torque.
This is far less than our best compact European armies, Renault Megane RS and other Volkswagen Scirocco R in mind. U.S. forces, the Dart GT will be offered with a choice of automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission.
Remains only a dream SRT really true sports history to give the best replica in Europe.
