Ford Puts The Package in Europe

While other manufacturers reduce the wing or the investments in Europe, Ford accelerates the launching of new products based on its overall range called One Ford strategy.

“Even in the context of activity in the very short term, this Europe of real opportunities for profitable growth. This is why we are accelerating the launch of new products in Europe, with a full range of models”, said Alan Mullaly, president and CEO of Ford.

The president noted that this strategy was strictly the same one put in place in North America in the revision of their trade policy there: quality, sobriety, security, elegance and price/benefit report. “The European market can be conducive to profitable growth, but this potential is now overshadowed by the economic crisis, said Stephen Odell, president and CEO of Ford of Europe.” But, according to forecasts, the European market in particular and utility cars – Russia included – should advance of 20% in five years to reach 23 million vehicles.

  1. The new Fiesta, version restylée of the city the best-selling car in Europe, with at the top of the range sports ST. The Fiesta will be marketed this year and its declination Fiesta ST in 2013.
