Ford Escape has recalled nearly 8,270 copies to a problem of carpet that may impede the driver during braking.
Recalls nearly 8,270 copies of Ford Escape latest version, said Sunday the national leadership of the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The recall notice posted on the website of the NHTSA indicates that failing to fix the carpet of these off-road recreational model 2013 (leave the factory between March 8 and June 7) may interfere with the driver the time of braking.
Ford intends to make the necessary repairs at no cost to owners of recalled vehicles.
According to figures from Motor Intelligence specialist site reported by the Wall Street Journal, Ford Escape sold 28,500 units in June, up 28% over the previous month. Sources: WSJ.com
