Renault Alpine A110-50 unveiled in the presence of the drivers Alain Prost and Jean Ragnotti which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Alpine A110.
Alpine A110-50 has a body in blue carbon, which pays tribute to the “Alpine blue”. On the chassis and the engine, the concept is the technical basis of the Megane Trophy. It is equipped with a V6 3.5L and 400 horses in the rear central position (already fitted the Megane Trophy).
In terms of design, Laurens van den Acker, Director of design of Renault, said: “The Renault Alphine A110, back key codes, namely additional projectors, large wheel passages, three-dimensional rear window and the stern truncated” as reported by AFP.
The New Renault Alpine A110-50 for the moment is only a prototype, but could give rise to a GT series. The decision on the renaissance of the Alpine mark will be made by end of the year, with a goal of marketing.
“Within three to five years, there are at least 50% chance will be a single model to start with a price between € 30,000 and € 100,000“, Carlos Tavares, CEO of Renault said to AFP.
The Renault Alpine A110-50 will be presented on various legends, including Le Mans Classic races (July 6, 7 and 8), but should be absent from the world of the Automobile.
