In the heart of the winter, the restyled BMW Z4 2013 announced already in summer. The roadster from the German manufacturer has been slightly altered and is entitled to a new version of basic, placed under the sign of “downsizing”.
The range now starts with the SDrive 18i, equipped with a slightly “deflated” variant of the well known turbo 2.0 engine. However, with 156 HP under the hood, this ‘small’ Z4 should remain sufficiently dynamic. Indeed, BMW announced a 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 221 km/h. Consumption remains reasonable: the plant indicates that it does not exceed 6.8 l / 100 km on average, to 159 g/km CO2 emissions. The other engines (20i, 28i, 35i and 35is) however remain valid.
In addition to this new engine, the Z4 is also entitled to changes of aesthetic: optical redesigned headlights, new fascias, new wheels, new colors and, last but not least, a more refined interior, which can now prepare in contrasting colors.
The equipment has also been enriched. BMW will unveil this New Z4 2013 reviewed and corrected early January at NAIAS and present it at the same time to the European public.
