The Last Lap for The Acura ZDX

Acura ZDX 2013 announced last week, a vehicle that never achieved its sales targets. This last vintage the Acura ZDX will benefit many improvements at the level of style and technology. Acura will now put its efforts on new models and commodities, including redesigned Acura RDX and the all-new sedan Acura RLX upcoming soon.

To return to the Acura ZDX, it gains a redesigned grille, front and rear parking sensors electrically folding mirrors and other technologies such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning. You can also highlight the Interior which offers a new wood on the center console and a strongly contrasting interior trim.

The Acura ZDX is equipped with a 3.7L V6 engine all aluminum which develops 300 horsepower and 270 lb. of torque – pi. A sequential SportShift 6-speed gearbox is responsible to manage this power. Despite the end of life of the Acura ZDX, Acura will continue to provide a high level of service to buyers and provide them with spare parts for the duration of the life of their vehicle.

The Acura ZDX 2013 is built in Alliston Ontario as the Acura MDX with which it shares the platform. Since the production of the MDX is transferred to Lincoln, Alabama assembly plant, the production of the Acura ZDX will shut down as will be the transfer. The 2013 model will be on sale in early November 2012 from $ 56,690.

Finally, a word about the new Acura RLX 2014 which will be presented on November 28, 2012 at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. This new flagship sedan will employ a range of new technologies unique to Acura, including system all wheel steering, the next-generation communication system AcuraLink and brand new DEL Jewel Eye headlights.
